A lot of people ask where they should buy the discs, because they want to know how best to support an indie musician. So here's the story from a guy who's not much of a businessman...

• JASONLUCKETT.COM: If you buy it from my site directly, I get all the money minus 3% which goes to Paypal. Paypal is secure and pretty good company as far as I can see. They're part of EBay and you can pay with any credit card and even checks, I think. The catch is you have to join once, which is free just like registering on amazon.com (they don't bother you with spam). They send me an e-mail right away and I ship it out to you usually with a little personal note or a couple stickers within a day or two.
  
  
• CDBABY.COM: They're pretty great. They only take $4 a disc from the selling price. They ship, within a day. They also give me your e-mail address so I can thank you personally. I love CDBaby! But if you're reading this why not buy directly from me, then go to CDBaby to write a review inspiring web surfers to buy it when they see it? That said, it's also very important to support good businesses, so please support CDBaby.
  
  
• LOCAL STORES: I usually get about $6-8 a pop when you buy 'em there. That's way more than any artist on a major label gets, but to confess my ineptitude, I usually forget to go get the money. Aside from that, local stores are great for spreading the buzz, so if they've taken the step to stock and maybe make my music available for listening, please support them, or at least go in and ask about it, see if they'll play it over the store system. (I usually give the stores a listening copy for in-store play.)
  
  
• AMAZON.COM: That's pretty much a vanity spot for me right now. After shipping and the fee they charge me to stock it along with eveything else I may have made a dollar a CD. So there, if you're interested in supporting the music, please write a review of the album. Create a groovy list and put APFH on it, or recommend APFH along with another disc that you think is good. There's lots of ways to support on Amazon.
  
  
• THE SHOWS!!: Well of course, that's the grooviest place to get a disc, but I don't take credit cards yet... Hope to see you at the next one!

• Well, I think one of the best things is probably to add you reviews to the sites where I'm listed. I'm on MSN, All Music Guide and Artists Direct, as well as the online stores, CDBaby and Amazon.
