A couple longtime friends and someone new in our orbit, Erica Beloved, will join us at the next Second Saturdays w/ JL & Friends!
I’ve known Robbie McDonald since our days at UCLA and have always been blown away by his voice! And as a songwriter, he is no less impressive. And though his songs are poignantly beautiful, he’s also hilarious! We always have a great time sharing the bill.
Robbie introduced me to Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, Erica Beloved. “She is learning, through song, to feel deeply in a time of anesthesia. Erica’s voice resonates with longing and awe and invites you to slow down and explore the hidden depths of eternal love, nature, and mystery.” We’re really happy to have her join us.
I’ll focus on more new songs this month again after the debuts went down so well in October. I’d been writing and hiding too long. But having a whole bunch of songs I believe in is a pretty good thing! Hopefully, I’ll start playing a little more often elsewhere so we can all get to know the new tunes better!
